Our bed alcove is super toasty thanks to sealed windows, insulating curtains, and layers of snuggly blankets and pillows. The ceiling will be lined in luan in a paycheck or two. To maximize storage I sewed, poorly, pockets on the inside of the curtains for remotes, glasses, mints, etc. We created an entertainment nook to play movies and video games.
Our bathroom has made a huge step forward, but still needs a bit of work. I used Flex Seal, and painted everything. There are places that need to be repaired or replaced, and we are taking care of those as we come to them. Ken hung a light bar, and I just got the medicine cabinet reinstalled.
Our corkboard cabinets are filling up with holiday cards. We did hit a little bit of a glitch when we found out that liquid chalk wouldn’t come off our painted doors which caused an emergency repaint.
We got the roof, and vents sealed today thanks to my brother and my easily bribable son. We hung our Christmas tree on the outside of our little home.
Thanks for following along on our journey to the perfect tiny home.
